They called it Godzilla, and the nickname stuck because the car kept justifying it.

The R34 was the last Skyline GT-R before the badge left the Skyline line entirely. Under the bonnet sat the RB26DETT — a twin-turbocharged straight-six, iron-blocked and famously understated on paper thanks to a Japanese agreement to declare no more than 276 hp. Nobody believed the figure then and nobody believes it now. Driving all four wheels through the ATTESA E-TS system, it could deploy that power in conditions where rear-drive rivals were still waiting.

Finished here in Bayside Blue, the colour the R34 is remembered in above all others, with the rear wing, the round tail lights and the deep front bumper drawn in full detail.
